We are delighted and proud to offer this truly unique Danish/Norwegian-owned vessel. Here is your opportunity to embark on long voyages and expeditions to distant or domestic shores in first class. She is among the most beautiful and charming classic ships found along the Danish coasts.

Whether the journey takes you along the Norwegian coast to the Arctic Circle, perhaps around the Baltic Sea, or south towards warmer climates, this is the ultimate opportunity to do so with both style, safety, and exceptionally high comfort.

A truly seaworthy, ocean-going vessel. Naturally equipped with everything, including automatic stabilizers below the waterline for smooth sailing in high seas.

She is a real ship and at the same time a perfect and highly presentable 1st class year-round residence on the waterfront.

Built at the "Malahide Shipyard" in Ireland, renowned worldwide for quality yachts from the "top shelf" and crafted based on the finest shipbuilding traditions.

A proud vessel from a time when it was still possible to build with such beautiful and unique materials.

The name of this beautiful swan is: "Lady Anne"

Layout and Comfort

"Lady Anne" welcomes its owners and guests with its large doors on both railings. When at sea, boarding is done via the fine stainless steel staircase lowered along the ship's starboard side. It couldn't get more maritime than this.

One simply awaits the crew to whistle the captain on board.

The side decks greet you with their beautiful solid teak decking. From the entrances, one moves aft where you are met by 2 large, impressive, and classic glass doors. Elegantly, they open to the ship's inner chambers, where you first step into "Lady Anne's" magnificent large salon, naturally connected to the covered aft deck.

The Ship's Bridge:

Alternatively, one enters the ship via the side decks and up to the next level where the ship's bridge is located. Here, there are entrances on both port and starboard sides to the primary workspace. This is where the skipper and helmsman stay during navigation, with a fantastic view of the vessel's extensive instrument panel and bow.

Three people can comfortably sit in the large forward-facing chairs, steering with a joystick and autopilot, unless they prefer to stand at the helm in the traditional way during maneuvers.

The bridge accommodates the entire crew, allowing everyone to follow the navigation effectively.

Galley:

From the wheelhouse and bridge, one moves aft and down a level to the ship's distribution corridor. Here lies the ship's lavish pantry, rivaling a modern house kitchen. It includes two large refrigerators, a large freezer, dishwasher, gas stove, and gas oven.

This is also the way to descend to the lower deck where the ship's cabins and toilets are located.

Salon:

Further back in the ship and a natural extension of the galley, we find ourselves in the ship's main salon. As mentioned, it opens to the aft deck through the large double glass doors. The salon is the ship's living room, customizable with furniture of your choice. There is ample space for sofas, armchairs, and a dining table. Currently, there are no fixed furniture pieces in the salon.

"Lady Anne" also features its own custom-built bar cabinet centrally located between the salon and galley.

All rooms have good headroom, and the large windows ensure a fantastic view of the sea and harbor environment. The overall impression of the ship is very bright and welcoming on the upper decks.

This impression is complemented by the color scheme, with lovely light colors on the bulkheads and ceilings.

LED spotlights and LED lighting are installed throughout the ship, and the heating systems and insulation are efficient, comprehensive, and of high quality. You can live very comfortably all year round, even in winter on our Nordic latitudes.

Cabins:

On the lower deck, you'll find the ship's "Master Bedroom" spanning the ship's full width, larger than most bedrooms on land. Remember, the ship is a whole 6.5 meters wide. Additionally, there are two splendid double cabins with sleeping accommodations. One cabin is equipped with office and desk facilities.

A huge bathroom with a standalone shower is located at the bow of the ship, exclusively for use from the "Master Bedroom." This area is the owner's domain. The ship's guests or other residents have their own inviting bathroom and shower facilities adjacent to their cabins.

In the distribution corridor on the lower deck, there is a utility room with a washing machine of standard "land size".

Flybridge and Aft Deck:

The flybridge and aft deck speak for themselves. There is also plenty of space and views. If you have 12 or 14 guests on board, they will surely find outdoor seating for everyone.

There is an outdoor kitchen with a grill, double burners, and a sink with cold water.

There is also space for a large RIB boat up here, with its own electric crane for effortless launching.

Engine Room:

In a vessel of this caliber, it's natural to use the term "engine room." See the photo and judge for yourself how fine it is. There is excellent access to the 2 large Scania engines. Service and maintenance of the technology are carried out under optimal conditions.

Technology and Renovation

Heating System:

There are heat pumps for electric heating as well as a central heating system with a 19kw diesel burner (Kabola) with both water-based radiators and fan convectors.

Power Consumption:

The boats can be inhabited and sailed with very low power consumption. The current owners used around 4500kwh last year as a fully operational year-round houseboat. This was made possible due to the yacht's excellent solar panel system and wind turbines, along with partial heating (base heating) with diesel.

Battery Capacity, Generator, Solar Panels, and Wind Turbines:

There is a large 2kw solar panel system with Victron regulators. On a summer day, it can produce 10kwh, making the boat's Mastervolt Whisper 6kw power generator redundant most of the summer.

Living environmentally friendly and saving significantly on diesel and shore power expenses.

The electrical system is integrated into a Victron Cerbo GX monitoring center.

With it, you can monitor power from solar panels and battery status on the boat using the WRM portal/app and a smartphone, no matter where you are in the world.

The boat switches automatically between the power sources on board, whether it's shore power, battery operation, or the diesel generator if started.

No need to manually switch between different power sources. Just let the sun shine, connect to shore power, and possibly start the generator, and the rest will happen automatically. It couldn't be easier!

The generator naturally takes priority when started.

Water:

There are freshwater tanks totaling 3,500 liters. Extended stays and ocean passages without a fresh water supply are therefore possible.

Stabilizer System:

Gyro-stabilized hydraulic stabilizer fins help reduce the boat's rolling to an absolute minimum when sailing in high seas and large waves. The system is "Rock, Koop Nautic."

Engines and Bow- and Stern Thrusters:

"Lady Anne" is equipped with a dual-engine installation. 2 Scania D11 engines. These are slow-speed engines with a large volume (11 liters each), high torque, and relatively low power. They are designed for calm, serious long-distance sailing with low engine revolutions at cruising speed.

With two engines and both bow and stern thrusters, maneuvering in tight harbors is very easy. "Lady Anne" can easily turn around on its own axis.

Both engines have undergone extensive servicing until 2023. Professionally done with invoice documentation and a 1500-hour warranty on the gears.

Both coolers were disassembled and acid washed. New gaskets, belts, and all engine and gear oils were changed.

New fuel hoses have been installed.

Both gearboxes were disassembled, and damper plates and new oil seals were replaced on the engine, shafts, and gears for both machines.

Both engines were completely overhauled in 2008 and have now run a total of approximately 5500 hours. They start on the first try every time.

Fuel Consumption:

The diesel consumption at economical speed is low for a boat of this size. She weighs nearly 100 tons fully loaded.

At 7.3 knots and 1,200 rpm, the consumption is 16 liters of diesel per hour. With 10,000 liters of fuel on board, this gives her a theoretical range of 4,500 Nm (or approximately 8,500 km) at 7.3 knots.

Increasing the speed to +8 knots increases the fuel consumption to approximately +26 liters per hour.

You can refuel "Lady Anne" here in Denmark and still have half-filled tanks when you reach Gibraltar. If you fill them up there, you can continue towards Cap Verde and then cross the Atlantic towards Martinique in the Caribbean. By then, you will still have fuel left to navigate between the Palm Islands.

4,500 nautical miles is also approximately the distance from Denmark to Sardinia in the Mediterranean and all the way back home. You can really go far.

The Malahide shipyard and the history of "Lady Anne"

"Lady Anne" are based on the prestigious "Malahide Shipyard" in County of Dublin, Ireland. The design was created by naval architect Myles Stapleton, and around 30 examples have been built worldwide. Each ship is unique with its own distinctive features, tailored to the customers' desires.

They are built on the same concept but differ in lines, technology, equipment, and layout.

"Lady Anne" has always been built as a pleasure yacht since its launch.

The ship is constructed of solid Iroko, including the keel, frames, and cladding. The deck is made of teak. The superstructure and upper decks on the flybridge are made of spray-insulated marine aluminum.

The cladding is 2 inches (5 cm) thick, frames are 5 x 5 inches (12.5 x 12.5 cm), and the keel is 12 x 8 inches (30 cm x 20 cm).

These are traditional professional dimensions also used for trawlers sailing in the North Sea and North Atlantic.

The shipyard recommends its yachts for safe and secure ocean voyages, and their range is quite impressive. With full fuel tanks, they are designed to sail approximately 4,500 nautical miles, equivalent to a fifth of the way around the globe.
